Interior Minister Ahmed Al -Hajjar confirmed that the electoral process went today with all freedom, democracy and smoothness.

The words of Al -Hajjar came after receiving the Minister of Information Paul Morcos in the Ministry of Interior.

Al -Hajjar said: “Lebanon was and still is proud of the freedom of the press, and I say to reporters,“ It gives you a thousand well -being. ”

For his part, Morcos said: “The government confirmed today through the electoral process that it respects the sanctity of constitutional benefits.”

He also added: “I salute the media and photographers for their fatigue and their effort to cover the elections and transfer the voice and the image, as it should, and we aspire to a law that protects them and justice to them.”

Prior to the start of the elections, Al -Hajjar affirmed his supervision of the process of the importance of the success of this entitlement, “noting that” the operating room will keep pace with all the violations that may take place and will take the necessary measures in accordance with the laws. “

Al -Hajjar expressed his happiness, saying: “It is very happy to restore the regularity of the situation in Lebanon and that the constitutional entitlements are held on its dates, and this is a new start for Lebanon.”
