Tunisia .. An increase in the number of tourists and the sector’s revenues by 8 percent until April

The number of visitors in Tunisia has increased by more than 2.3 million tourists until April 20, to record an increase of 8.8 percent compared to the same period in 2024.

Data from the National Tourism Bureau revealed an increase in the flow of European tourists by 24.4 percent, and the number of tourists from neighboring countries in North Africa increased by 4.6 percent.

The revenues of the tourism sector amounted to 1.6 billion Tunisian dinars (500 million US dollars), registering an increase in the range of 85.3 million Tunisian dinars (28.4 million US dollars).

Tunisia, which is one of the main tourist destinations in the Mediterranean basin, achieved a record in 2024 by attracting about 10.3 million tourists and aspiring this year to achieve 11 million tourists for the first time.
