The President of Slovakia refuses to join his citizens to the Ukrainian forces

The Slovak News Agency (TASR) reported that President Peter Bilgerini rejected requests submitted by Slovak citizens to join the Ukrainian armed forces and participate in fighting in its ranks.

The agency, quoting the administration of President Bilgerini, who took office on June 15, 2024, said that four Slovenian citizens submitted requests to obtain permission to join the Ukrainian army and fight in his ranks, but that the president did not agree to any of these requests.
