Completion of administrative and logistical preparations in Nabatieh Governorate to keep pace with the electoral entitlement


Administrative and logistical preparations in the Nabatiyeh Governorate have been completed to keep pace with the electoral entitlement, which will be launched tomorrow, Monday, in its first phase, to receive applications for nomination for municipal and optional seats in 40 towns from the Nabatiyeh district.

The offices are equipped with the Internet and centrally connected to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, whereby the nomination requests will be received for municipal and optional seats after the completion of the required candidates, and the decisions of the admission of applicants will be issued within 72 hours of their candidacy.

The Qa’imin also completed the districts of Bint Jbeil, Hasbaya, and the two necessary procedures in coordination with the governor of Nabatiyeh, and received computers and printers sent from the Ministry of Interior.

In the same context, the governor of Nabatieh, Professor Howaida Al -Turk, supervised the existing arrangements in the companies, where the tasks were distributed to employees in this context.

Al -Turk indicated that “Nabatieh Brigades will receive the nominations of those wishing to apply for the municipal councils and seats and optional members in 40 towns from the Nabatiyeh district, where we are expected to witness in the first days a remarkable turnout, and we prepared all arrangements in order to be the process of submitting and receiving applications easy and fast, and we avoid any crowding, or delay,” noting that “competition in the competition 40 towns in the Nabatiyeh district will be 567 municipal seats, and 122 seats chosen in 45 neighborhood towns.

She also pointed out that “coordination with the Regional Finance Authority in the Nabatiyeh Governorate was also made to the person of its president, Ayman Reda, to determine the readiness of the mandates and the arrest funds, after many obstacles were overcome in Marjayoun and Bint Jbeil’s accounts, with the efforts of the General Director of Finance George Al -Mamara, and the Minister of Interior also addressed the issue of mandating a notary in Hasbaya.”
