The Security Council condemns the attack in Kashmir and calls for accountability


On Friday, the UN Security Council condemned the “terrorist attack”, which killed 26 civilians in the part -time part of Kashmir, calling for its officials to be referred to justice.

In a statement issued on Friday, the members of this council, where Pakistan has become a member of two years since January, condemned the “most terrible terrorist attack” that took place on Tuesday.

The Council affirmed that terrorism “in all its forms” is “one of the worst threats of international peace and security,” stressing “the need to hold the perpetrators of this terrorist act, its organizers, its infants, its supporters, and bring them to justice.”
