We hope that the legacy of Pope Francis remains a beacon that enlightens our path

The director of the Catholic Center for Media Media, Monsignor Abdo Abu Kassem, confirmed in a statement that “the words of the greatest ink Pope Francis that he directed to us about Lebanon on our last visit to the Vatican three months ago, will remain always present, as he expressed his optimism about the improvement of the situation in Lebanon after the election of a new president, and he said: Lebanon is in my heart and my prayers.”

Abu Kasim added: “With the death of Pope Francis, we lose a greater ink that is distinguished by his simplicity and his struggle for a world of peace, justice, and dialogue between religions. His holiness carried the cross of illness and walked to the world of the right, carrying in his heart all the love of Lebanon and just issues, calling for permanently to raise injustice and support the poor and the weak. “Pilgrims of hope” is our hope and hope that the legacy of his holiness remains a beacon that enlightens our path and our endeavor to consolidate the humanitarian brotherhood and to remain a message of freedom and a land of diversity and dignity of man.
