April is considered one of the months in which Lebanon has witnessed unusual historical events that cannot be passed at all due to its importance and impact on the situation and the general scene in the country.

Here is a list of the most prominent of these events:

The war broke out after the “Busta Ain Al -Rummana” incident, when a bus carrying Palestinians was attacked by armed elements, killing a large number of passengers.

This day was the spark that ignited a 15 -year war.

2- April 18, 1983- The bombing of the American embassy in Beirut

A suicide bomber driving a car bomb carried an attack on the American embassy in Ain Al -Marisa.

The attack resulted in the death of 63 people, including a number of diplomats and Lebanese citizens.

3- April 18, 1996- The first Qana massacre

And that, Israel bombed the place, killing more than 100 civilians.

The massacre sparked an international condemnation wave, and a crime was considered against humanity.

4- April 26, 2005- Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon

During April 2005, Syria ended its military presence in Lebanon, which started in 1976.
