After the Bible, Kriakos gave a sermon on the meanings of hope and resurrection, and stressed “the importance of spreading the culture of love and peace between people, and the need to reject hatred and hatred and move away from violence and destruction that destroyed the lives of peoples and robbed them of safety.”

He said: “The resurrection of Christ is a call to all of us to rise from our divisions, from our selfishness, and from everything that separates us, and we return to the essence of man, to the love that builds and does not destroy.”

He pointed out that “the difficult social and economic conditions experienced by the Lebanese today require more than ever to real solidarity, and the return of human and religious values ​​to daily life.”

He called for “joint work between citizens and religious and political leaders to get out of the national ordeal, stressing that the change only comes from within the will of life and reform.”

He concluded: “We raise prayers and supplication so that our country can overcome this harsh stage and that normal life returns to Lebanon, and its children enjoy stability and safety in light of social justice worthy of their dignity.”
