Aoun to the commander of the army: Lebanon is waiting for a lot from you

The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, went to the commander of the army, Rudolf Heikal and members of the Military Council, by saying that “the army paid and still the blood tax in order to preserve the unity of Lebanon, its sovereignty and the integrity of its lands, and will remain faithful to its department, so they are one hand and one heart because the Lebanese are waiting for you a lot.”

Aoun’s words came during a meeting he gathered with the army commander, members of the Military Council, and the Director of Intelligence, Brigadier Tony Kahwaji, in the presence of Defense Minister Michel Mansi, on Tuesday morning.
