Hamas: Any agreement that must guarantee a ceasefire and reconstruction

Hamas announced that it is studying “with a high national responsibility, the proposal it received from the brokers, and will provide its response to it at the earliest time, as soon as the necessary consultations are completed.”

In a statement, the movement renewed its tightening of its “steadfast stance that it should achieve any future agreement: a permanent ceasefire, a complete withdrawal of the Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and the reach of a real exchange deal, and the start of a serious path to the reconstruction of what the Israeli army destroyed, and lifting the unjust siege on our people in the Gaza Strip.”

The “Cairo News” channel of the Egyptian government had quoted sources as saying that Egypt had received an Israeli proposal for a temporary ceasefire in Gaza, and to start negotiations for a permanent ceasefire.
