Sports director David Cubinho decided to suspend the morning training after an urgent meeting, and Rayo Vallecano had set his exercise stake on Monday at the Siosad Deportiviva Stadium, in preparation for the decisive match against Las Palmas in the Spanish League, after beating Getafe last Friday.
However, the team was unable to train as planned due to the theft of some sports equipment in Rayo Vallecano facilities.
The players remained in the dressing room for more than an hour without entering the field, then they started leaving the facilities without entering the main stadium.
The reason was a robbery that took place in Ciodad Deportiviva, where it is claimed that sports equipment was stolen, which would directly affect the training of some players of the first team, then club president Raul Martin Brisa arrived at the stadium at noon, where it was decided to hold the afternoon training, as decided.
Rayo Valekano is eighth in the league standings with 44 points, while Las Palmas is in the eighteenth place in the landing zone with 32 points.
