The Minister of the Interior: The need to establish security on Sunday during the electoral day and work to succeed

In his office, the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmed Al -Hajjar, chaired a meeting of the Central Operations Chamber of the municipal and optional elections and the ministry’s work team, in the presence of the Governor of Mount Lebanon, Judge Muhammad Makkawi and the concerned judges, during which a general and comprehensive evaluation of the electoral process took place in Mount Lebanon Governorate.
Al -Hajjar praised the “efforts made to make them successful and democratic.” The meeting also discussed “the preparations for the municipal and optional elections that will take place next Sunday in the northern and Akkar provinces.
