Pakistan is updating its commercial ban against India

Pakistan revealed the expansion of its trade ban with India to include not only direct exchange, but also to cross and export Indian goods through third countries, in a new escalation of the crisis between the two countries.

The Pakistani Ministry of Commerce issued an official decision prohibiting the import or export of any goods of Indian origin through Pakistani lands, even if they are coming from or heading to other countries through the sea, land or air.

The ban also included the Indian goods that pass through Pakistan to third destinations, or those imported by other countries from India through Pakistani territory.

The decision only excluded shipments that were shipped or issued their documents (a shipping pool or a documentary accreditation) before the date of the prohibition, as the authorities will allow their passage according to the previous conditions.
