The discussion about the exclusive weapon is due to the interface: the state first

David Ramal wrote in “Call of the Homeland”: A high political source reveals that there is a serious negotiating path that began to crystallize, the focus of strengthening the state’s sovereignty through its exclusive possession of the decision of peace and war and the use of legitimate violence. This path, which enjoys widespread external support, seeks to fortify Lebanon from the repetition of the internal violence courses, by stabilizing the state’s reference as a single authority that no one is disputed, while insisting on protecting Lebanon from any adventures that some parties may be submitted under various pretexts.

International pressure in this framework is increasing, but unlike the previous one, this time is busy preventing any internal security slide that may threaten the Lebanese entity. There is a profound international awareness that the explosion of internal tensions will be disastrous, and that no one is interest in keeping weapons outside the framework of the state. For the first time, it seems that the international community is dealing with Lebanon not a matter of dictates, but rather from the partnership to protect the remaining stability.

In the face of this positive climate, some of the “reluctance” forces that are still clinging to their valid options are trying to depict the debate about the exclusive weapon as if it was an internal conflict and a dangerous division between the first presidency and the sovereign forces. Through political and media pumping, these forces seek to blow into sectarian and sectarian illusions to intimidate people from any path that strengthens the state. However, the truth is stronger than all the attempts to march: the results of the field of confrontation during the past sixty days, with the severe losses and lessons it carried, proved that there is no salvation for Lebanon except under the umbrella of one unified country, which alone possesses weapons and decision, and embraces all its children without discrimination or exception.

The moment of truth is approaching, and with it the conviction of many is entrenched that the state alone is the guarantee, and that there is no room after today to escape forward or distract the policies of buying time. Lebanon stands in front of a crossroads, and the discussion that began will not stop, but will turn into a real constituent workshop, because the cost of approval and chaos has become greater than that this is the exhausted small country.
