From Israel to Ukraine .. Washington will transfer Patriot systems

The American newspaper “New York Times” quoted US officials that a Patriot air defense system, which was stationed in Israel, would be sent to Ukraine after its renewal.

The newspaper reported, quoting officials, that the United States’ allies are discussing logistics of Germany or Greece another system.

Officials refused to talk about US President Donald Trump’s view of the decision to transfer more Patriot regimes to Ukraine.

James Hewitt, a spokesman for the National House of National Security Council, said that the council does not provide details about the strength of the defense systems and its locations.

He added, “President Trump was clear: He wanted to end the war in Ukraine and stop killing.”

The US Department of Defense said in a statement that it “continues to provide equipment for pre -approved Ukraine.”
