According to the report translated by “Lebanon 24”, a military official has talked about the numbers of attacks since the conclusion of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel on November 27, 2025, indicating that the Israeli army attacked about 350 military targets in Lebanon, and more than 140 members and leaders were eliminated.
The report also says that the settlement foci established by the Israeli army during the “Northern Arrows” operations against Lebanon in 2024 will remain a front security area that enables operational control and an area to protect Israeli citizens.
The report also touched on the situation in Syria and the Israeli presence there, and he said that Israel is working to preserve the freedom of air operations, thwart threats and prevent strategic weapons.
He continued: “The 9 sites set up by the Israeli forces in the buffer zone, from the south of the Golan Heights to Jabal Al -Sheikh, will remain a front security area. Also, the forces in the buffer zone are working to remove the remaining capabilities in the area from the days of the Syrian army, in order to prevent the fall of weapons and capabilities in the hands of hostile elements that are trying to consolidate their presence in the area.”
Despite the statements about the buffer zone, the military official did not address the crisis in the Druze community living behind the border and suffer from aggressive elements attacks.
