Iranian health recommended the inhabitants of Hormuzgan for the necessity of their homes until further notice of the spread of toxic gases after the explosion in Rajai’s port.

Alexander Momani, the Iranian Minister of Interior, announced a new rise in the outcome of the explosion victims, which shook the port of Bandar Abbas in the south of the country earlier today, Saturday.

Momani said from the scene that he “left eight dead and 750 wounded,” explaining that reinforcements from Tehran and other cities are waiting for their arrival. “We hope to put out the fire in the coming hours,” he added.

Official television reported that all schools and offices will remain closed on Sunday in the area where a huge explosion occurred in southern Iran, leaving at least eight dead and 750 wounded.

“Schools, offices, and universities in Bandar Abbas will close Sunday,” said Mohdadad Hassan Zadeh official in the governorate.
