Australia celebrates the establishment of the North Ambassador newspaper in an official political presence


The newspaper “Ambassador of the North” held a special concert on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of its founding in Lebanon, and the third anniversary of the establishment of its office “Australia Ambassador”, under the auspices of the Lebanese Community Council, in the “City View” hall, in the presence of the Minister of Interior and Immigration in the Australian federal government, Tony Burke, Minister of Education Jessen Claire, Minister of Youth, Emergency and Services Jihad Deeb, Mufti The continent of Australia and New Zealand Sheikh Riyad Al-Rifai, head of the Federal Federation of Islamic Councils- AFIC Dr. Ratib Junaid, Vice-President of Canterbury- Bankstown Khadr Saleh, former MP Senator Shawkat Muslimani, Chairman of the Lebanese Community Council Elias Tannous, members of various municipal councils, a number of personalities and actors, the corners of the Lebanese community, charities, social and media faces Readers and followers of the “North Ambassador” in Sydney and the general Australia.

Dr. Junaid praised the exceptional work of the media, Nadine Shaar, a sincere and human media figure, and the editor -in -chief of the “Australia Ambassador”, praising her firm commitment to the service of the local community at all levels.

Junaid also touched on the suffering of the Palestinian people and the injustice that is happening against children and innocent people and the great ignorance of the international community, asking: Where are the voices of countries that claim to support democracy and human rights?

He said, “Australia is one of the best countries in the world, based on justice, fairness and mercy, but our main political parties do not make enough effort, so we have to do more to support civilians in Palestine, and we have to raise our voices high. This is not just a Palestinian issue, but rather a humanitarian issue and an ethical issue.”

Then the Mufti of the continent of Australia and New Zealand, Sheikh Riyad Al -Rifai, spoke, and he said: “The media in our time has become one of the strongest weapons, affects minds, constitutes ideas, changes convictions, and even leads nations and societies.

Hence, we had to address the issue of the media with a high professionalism, with credibility and transparency, in which we are guided by the light of the Noble Qur’an, and the guidance of the Prophet Al -Adnan, peace and blessings be upon him, where the values ​​and ethical principles of sublime, which are the basis of all good in our lives.

He added: “The media in Islam is a great message, a heavy honesty, and an important means of building societies. We must rise to our media, and direct it to show the facts and what is beneficial to people, the guidance of hearts, and the spread of truth, goodness and beauty.”

He continued: “With all love and appreciation, I am honored to stand today among you, on this word on the occasion of eight years since the establishment of the newspaper’s ambassador and three years on its launch in Australia. Eight years of purposeful media presence, the sincere word, and the responsible position, during which the newspaper“ Ambassador of the Northern ”succeeded in being a free voice and a fair mirror that reflects people’s issues and aspirations, and carries their concerns. Australia, for three years, the newspaper affirmed its distinguished presence in the Australian homeland, making the word a bridge between the motherland and the Lebanese society rooted on the entire land and dirt, thanks to the wise administration and the high -ranking media vision. I extend my greetings and appreciation to Professor Nadine Shaar, the director of the newspaper in Australia, for the giving and sincerity it makes in transferring the bright image of Australia, and strengthening the ties between the motherland and its sons in their homeland, Australia, which embraced them and their kouz until they became part of its cultural, cultural and social fabric.

He concluded: “Together, we celebrate today not only the age of achievement, but with a march of giving and insisting on continuing despite the challenges.”

In turn, the Federal Immigration Minister, Tony Burke, gave a speech in which he spoke about the role of the media in shaping public opinion and supporting national issues, and stressed the importance of an independent and objective media that contributes to building a conscious and educated society.

Minister Burke praised the role of the founder of the North Ambassador, Ghassan Rifi, because of his long experience in the field of journalistic work, and the prominent role he plays through his visits to Australia in communicating with the people of the Lebanese community and enhancing social relations.

He also praised the role of the director of Australia Media Ambassador Nadine, a slogan for his efforts to follow up on the activities and activities of the community.
