The Minister of Communications, Charles Al -Hajj, visited, suddenly, the headquarters of the company “Alpha” in Dekwaneh, to see closely on its reality and examine the progress of work and listen to the status of employees, and the visit falls within the framework of his identification of the conditions of the institutions affiliated with the Ministry.

The Minister of Communications toured the various sections of the company, asking for a close work progress, shaking hands with the employees by one by one, and expressing his appreciation for their efforts. The visit also included the customer service center, where he was keen to preview how services are provided to citizens.

The Minister of Communications spoke to the workers and emphasized “the importance of the role they play,” and said: “I am here today, without prior, only to say: Thank you, thank you for keeping this vital sector continues even in the most difficult times in which our country has passed.”

He stressed that “productivity alone will be the primary criterion for progress within the company, far from any other considerations,” stressing “the need to put the right person in the right place”, and said: “The responsibility of the administration lies in discovering the energies of employees and employing them in an optimal way, because I do not believe in the presence of a bad employee, but with a bad manager who did not know how to put the employee in a place where he succeeds.”

He added: “You are lucky because you are working in a sector that provides you with good income, and I believe that the company treats you in an excellent way. Therefore, I think you are convinced with me that your efforts and focus must be increased in order to support your company and help it secure the best service for the Lebanese and visitors Several areas, foremost of which is improving the salaries of workers in the public sector, especially those who protect and protect Lebanon.

He called “everyone to work in the spirit of the team and professionalism,” stressing that “the real change starts from within the institution, and that it is time to build something stronger, together.”

He concluded: “As the President of the Republic and the Council of Ministers promised, it is time for reform.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Alpha”, its general manager, Jad Nassif, said: “Alpha, based on its awareness of the size of the responsibility assigned to her in the reform plan of Minister Al -Hajj, will not provide an effort to achieve a set of main goals, foremost of which is increasing productivity, operational efficiency, network development and enhancing the quality of service.”
