The Kurdish Self -Administration in the city of Qamishli, northeastern Syria, arrested the correspondent of the Arab Network and Al -Hadath Juma Akash, without clarifying the reasons.

As Al -Arabiya network announces its categorical rejection of any arrests of journalists and limiting the freedom of the media, asking the Kurdish self -administration to immediately release Akash.

It also confirms that Akash has been working for many years in the areas under the control of Kurdish self -administration with professionalism and balance, without bias for any party.
