9 memoranda of understanding between Egyptian and Chinese institutions to enhance economic cooperation


The Commercial and Economic Cooperation Conference between Egypt and Shinzen witnessed the signing of 9 memoranda of understanding between Egyptian and Chinese institutions, within the activities of the conference, the cooperation in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador and representatives of the public and private sector from the two countries.

The areas of the agreements signed, to include projects in clean energy, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries, in addition to cooperation in the production and marketing of cars, the development of industrial areas, and the provision of legal services that support the expansion of companies in international markets.
This event is an important step in the path of strengthening economic relations between Egypt and China, as these agreements reflect a common desire to expand areas of cooperation and benefit from available investment opportunities, which contributes to supporting sustainable development efforts and enhancing integration between the two sides in strategic sectors.

The signed memoranda of understanding highlights the Chinese side’s interest in expanding the Egyptian market as a major gate to Africa and the Arab region, while the Egyptian authorities seek to attract more investments and transfer experiences and technology to support the national economy.
