Jordan is reaching an agreement with the International Monetary Fund


Jordan has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund at the level of experts regarding the third review of the economic reform program supported by the agreement to facilitate the extended fund, which was agreed upon in January 2024.

A team of experts of the International Monetary Fund, headed by Ron van Roden, visited Amman from April 6 to 17, 2025, to hold discussions on the third review under the arrangement of the International Monetary Fund’s agreement to facilitate the extended fund, which was approved by the Executive Council of the International Monetary Fund on December 10, 2024. During the visit, discussions were held on arrangements under the facilitation of hardness and sustainability (RSF).

It was also announced by achieving remarkable progress in all standards of quantitative and structural performance, which contributes to accelerating the expected economic growth in Jordan for 2025 to 2.7%. (Russia today)
