A month after the arrest of Akram Imamoglu .. The protests extend to universities

A month after the arrest of the mayor of Istanbul, Akram, Imamoglu, on March 19, the angry demonstrations condemned the arrest process continued, and extended to some universities and secondary schools in Türkiye.

The massive demonstrations in Istanbul in the first week after the arrest of Akram Imamoglu were arrested. Thousands of people were flowing at the time to the municipal building of Istanbul every night, while the Turks went out of all ages to the streets in several cities. The celebrations at the end of Ramadan allowed the return of calm.

However, these unprecedented protests since the mobility of Gizi, which began in the Taksim Square in Istanbul in 2013, resumed ten days ago in universities in Istanbul and Ankara.

In recent days, protests extended to dozens of secondary schools across the country, as a wave of anger was raised due to the government’s decision to replace some teachers.
