Are the United States reviewing its strategy with the Houthis?

The “Sky News Arabia” website stated that the Yemeni scene is witnessing a continuous military escalation with the entry of American strikes on the Houthi sites for its second month.

While Washington confirms the destruction of 120 Houthi military sites and the injury of their communications network, the group denies losses and vowed to escalate, in an indication of the variation of assessments about the effectiveness of this campaign.

Brigadier Jamil Al -Maamari, the Yemeni military expert, revealed in a comment to the site that the strikes focused on the Houthi military infrastructure instead of targeting the leaders.

He pointed out that the disruption of the Houthi communication centers represents a tactical success, but it warned of the need for extensive strikes for a year to completely craze the Houthi capabilities.

Questions are raised about whether American strikes are just a pressure tool for Iran in Muscat negotiations, especially as Washington avoids targeting Houthi leaders.

The ongoing escalation by the Houthis, including threats to maritime navigation and strikes on the Israeli depth, remains a challenge to American allegations of its strategy.

Observers note a major security paradox, which is not to use the legitimate Yemeni forces the opportunity to twice the Houthi communications to carry out a ground operation.

This reality raises questions about the extent of Yemeni parties dependent on external directives instead of self -initiative.

The region faces 3 possible scenarios:

American strikes continue with more focus on leaders.
– Or the strategy turns into purely negotiating pressure on Iran.
– And an anti -Houthi escalation may hold the military scene more.

These developments come in conjunction with American-Iranian negotiations and the escalation of threats to international navigation.
