A promise from the Minister of Education to the members of the educational body!

The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Rima Karami, headed an expanded educational meeting that included the Director General of Education, Chairman of the Examiner Committees, Professor Fadi Yarq, heads of units in the General Directorate and the Examinations Department, Presidents Educational, financial, logistical and technical designated for the official exams for the high school diploma in its four branches.

On the other hand, Minister Karami, Russia’s Federal Ambassador to Lebanon, received Mr. Alexander Rodakov, on a protocol visit, during which the bilateral and university bilateral relations between the two countries were presented, and the issue of Russian scholarships for Lebanese students, and it was agreed to re -activate and update cooperation agreements to serve students.

Then I received the Ambassador of Armenia in Lebanon, Mr. Fahkan Atabikian, and it was a presentation of educational, university and cultural relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.

The Ambassador of Pakistan in Lebanon, Mr. Salman Akhar, also received the research, followed the follow -up of the Educational and University Cooperation Agreement, especially in terms of grants provided to Lebanese students, and enhancing cooperation by activating this agreement and extending its implementation period.

Minister Karami met with representatives of the High Commissioner for Refugees, and the follow -up of education for all and support for support to teach non -Lebanese students.

The minister also met with the French ambassador to Lebanon, Herve Magro, and discussed with him the educational relations and joint projects aimed at developing education and raising the level of its outputs.

Minister Karami headed the programmed meeting of the southern and Nabatiyeh regions, and welcomed the attendees, stressing that the aim of direct communication with the administrative and educational bodies is to see the reality and listen to the needs and aspirations, starting from the profession of education and participatory procedural research to enhance direct interaction.

She emphasized that caring for teachers and learners is one of the scientific and human Muslim, noting that we have never been against a strike and the right to expression, and that we do our effort as a government to provide what is acceptable for decent living to a series of ranks and salaries, as our goal is to reach sustainable solutions to improve the teacher’s status in light of the presence of angel and contractors of multiple groups and sources of funding and various and insufficient financing, especially since the decree is issued and will be spent Credits for the educational body.

The minister promised members of the educational body that their case is the first in her interests, given that the basis is the learner, and that the teacher is the most effective educational tool to prepare learners.

The attendees talked about their demands and their suffering, especially in the region that suffered and suffers from aggression and destruction, and the presence of students who learn from a distance. Some also called for improving the educational environment in public schools, and we are at the doors of new curricula that adopt the approach with competencies, and they demanded the preparation of teachers for art, sports, theater, music and drawing so that the learner has opportunities to choose what he desires. The Minister confirmed that the circumstances of the students ’students that were taken into consideration were taken into consideration, and the educational center conducted a comprehensive survey for each school to find out what the students have accomplished from the prescribed programs, pointing out that we are working to fill these exams its function in measuring the achievement and efforts to move to the university stage, and stressed that the stage is accurate, transitional and sensitive and that the work focuses on ending for the next academic year.

On the political intervention in education, the minister indicated that the effort is currently in order to make politics in the service of education, not the other way around.
