Al -Sadi chaired a meeting to confront the scarcity of water and the lack of fall


The Minister of Energy and Water Joe Al -Sadi chaired a meeting that included the heads of the board of directors and two general directors of water institutions in Lebanon, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Authority of the Litani River and the project of the reform project in the water sector funded by the French Development Agency AFD.

The meeting was devoted to researching ways to confront the repercussions of water scarcity, lack of falcomics this year, and to ensure the continuity of public service and the fairness of distribution. The ways to rationalize the demand were also discussed, in light of the existing climatic and economic challenges.

Al -Sadi also received a delegation from the World Bank, which included the Director of Energy Sector in the Middle East and North Africa region, Hossam Bedes, who is responsible for the energy sector in Lebanon Alexis Madeleine and a chief energy expert in energy Mohamed Zakaria wheat.

The research dealt with the Electricity Sector Regulatory Law No. 462/2002 and ways to implement it and how to advance the sector.
