A statement from the Ministry of Finance .. What is in it?


The Ministry of Finance issued a statement in which it informed “those charged with reducing fines on the violations committed before the issuance of the applied decision by the Minister of Finance No. 336/1 dated 3/12/2025 associated with extending the work of the provisions of Article 88 of the Budget Law 2024 related to reducing verification and collection fines on taxes that the Public Finance Directorate ordered under Law 328/2024.


The text of the statement stated:

Whereas, the work of the provisions of Article 88 of the Budget Law 2024, related to the reduction of verification fines and the collection of taxes that are charged by the Public Finance Directorate, was extended, according to Law No. 328/2024 (suspension of legal, judicial, and contract lies),

Whereas, the Minister of Finance was issued Applied Resolution No. 336/1 dated 12/3/2025 related to the reduction of fines on the violations committed before the date of the decision, therefore, the Ministry of Finance assigned the following:

They can take advantage of these cuts according to the following:

For exceptional and last time for the costs and permits issued before 11/16/2022, by 85%, the condition of payment at a maximum of 9/30/2025

For permits sent during the period from 11/16/2022 to 15/2/2024, with a rate of 90%, the condition of payment at a maximum of 30/2025

For permits sent during the period from 16/2/2024 to 12/3/2025, by 85, 60 and 75% (according to the type and date of the violation), the condition of payment at a maximum of 9/30/2025

For the costs issued as of 11/16/2022 by 90, 85, 60 and 75% (according to the type and date of the violation and the assignment document) the condition of payment at a maximum of 9/30/2025

For permits for foreign shares revenues (Form W 4/C) by 100, 85 and 75% (according to the year of revenues), the condition of payment at a maximum of 9/30/2025

They can pay taxes by commercial banks and the Liban Post and any of the companies contracting with the Ministry of Finance to collect taxes and fees,

They can view the amounts required by reviewing the specialized collection departments in Beirut and the governorates or by entering the electronic tax account for the registered officials electronically or by sending a request to the following email:
