Iranian oil exports are targeted … US sanctions on China

On Wednesday, the United States imposed new sanctions targeting Iranian oil exports and including a small oil refining company in China.

The US Treasury said in a statement that the procedure will increase the pressure on Iranian crude importers in China, according to Reuters.

On Wednesday, the US Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions on one of the independent small refining companies in China, accusing it of involvement in buying Iranian oil worth more than one billion dollars.

This is the second small independent Chinese refining company that the Trump administration imposes sanctions so far.
