The Emir of Qatar receives Sharia and his accompanying delegation at Hamad International Airport

The President of Syria, Ahmed Al -Shara, arrived in Qatar on his first official visit to Doha after assuming his post.

The Qatari agency “Qena” wrote: “Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, the future of his brother, President Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, upon his arrival and the accompanying delegation, the Emiri Hall at Hamad International Airport, today, on an official visit to the country.”

She added: “He was also received by his luxury and the accompanying delegation, Abdullah bin Muhammad Al -Khulaifi, head of the Emiri Diwan, and Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al -Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”

Earlier today, Tuesday, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani wrote through the platform “X”: “Today we accompany President Ahmed Al -Shara on his first presidential visit to Qatar, the country that stood with the Syrians from the beginning and did not abandon them.”

This visit comes after the recent return of Sharia from an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, during which he presided over a Syrian delegation that met the President of the State Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Emirati circles described this visit as “successful by all standards”.
