US Energy Minister Chris Wright said that Washington will soon announce the details of a historic “nuclear” cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia.

Wright, who is currently visiting to Saudi Arabia, added that the development of nuclear energy is one of the interests of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that pays this industry special attention, especially the nuclear energy, stressing that the Kingdom has already proven great success in this sector.

The United States is preparing to sign a comprehensive energy cooperation agreement within weeks, and is likely to be followed by a specific nuclear energy agreement within months.
