Two Russian ships enter the Red Sea

Two ships belonging to the Russian Pacific Fleet entered the Red Sea through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, after maneuvers in the Gulf of Aden as part of the fleet’s tasks.

The fleet reported that the two ships were the cruiser “Varyag” and the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov,” revealing that the crews of the two ships trained in different scenarios to combat the supposed enemy activity.

The ships of the Pacific Fleet continue their duties as part of a periodic cruise in the waters of the world.
