France is regaining its tourism momentum… new records
According to the data, tourism revenues in 2023 recorded an increase of 12 percent compared to 2022.
After spending by foreign tourists reached 56.7 billion euros in 2019, it decreased to 28.5 billion in 2020 before improving in 2021, recording 34.5 billion after a relative recovery from the Corona pandemic.
Belgian tourists came at the top of the ranking in 2023, spending 8.2 billion, followed by the British (7.2 billion), and the Swiss and Germans (6.5 billion). As for US tourists, they spent 6.2 billion euros, compared to 5.5 billion last year and 4.1 billion in 2019.
