A man changes his name to “Anyone Else” and runs for the US presidency

A Texas man has legally changed his name to “Anyone Else” and announced his candidacy for the US presidency in 2024.

The man, formerly known as Dustin Eby, was 35, a US Army veteran and seventh-grade math teacher in suburban Dallas, who now has a Texas driver’s license to prove his name change.

He indicated that he wants to change his name because he is not satisfied with this year’s presidential candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

“Three hundred million people can do better,” he added, referring to the candidates most likely to hold the country’s highest office. “There really needs to be an outlet for people like me who are tired of this constant power grab between the two parties that has no benefit to the average person.

“It’s not necessarily about me as a person, but it’s literally about everyone else as an idea,” he told news station WFAA88.

“Anyone else is not a person, but a rallying cry,” the candidate’s website says. Americans have long been a victim of political parties that place party loyalty over governance. “Let us together send the message to Washington and say: You will represent us or you will be replaced.”
