Deaths in air strikes on Deir ez-Zor

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 7 Iranian militias were killed as a result of unknown air strikes that targeted a militia headquarters in the city of Deir ez-Zor, amid information about the killing of a leading figure in the Al-Filat neighborhood of the city.

Unidentified aircraft, whether Israeli or American, carried out raids on Iranian militia sites in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, resulting in deaths and injuries among the militias, and ambulances rushed to the targeted areas.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, unidentified aircraft targeted Al-Mayadeen farms, two militia headquarters in the city of Al-Bukamal, a headquarters near the Al-Abbas area, and a headquarters in the Al-Filat neighborhood in the city of Deir ez-Zor.

This came hours after an Iranian transport plane landed at Deir ez-Zor airport.

Observatory sources confirmed that the plane was loaded with communications devices and cameras. The equipment was transported by truck and headed to an unknown location.
