More than 1,000 tons… Libyan aid to Gaza will be sent by sea

The International Campaign to Save Gaza announced the completion of arrangements for the sailing of a Libyan aid ship to the Palestinian people in Gaza, through the Egyptian port of Al-Arish.

The campaign said, in a statement on Sunday, that the Libyan aid ship, for which preparations began three months ago, will sail from the port of Misrata during this week.

The campaign stated that the Libyan National Committee, consisting of a number of Libyan civil society organizations and civil charitable organizations, in cooperation with the municipality of Misrata, was able to collect more than 1,200 tons of necessary relief aid for the besieged people of Gaza, who are being subjected to a criminal genocidal war from the Zionist occupation state. .

The campaign statement praised the financial support provided by the Libyan Supreme Council of State for this popular initiative, which led to accelerating the completion of the ship’s cargo.

The campaign said that the Libyan Red Crescent was the one that made the arrangements with the Egyptian side, in order to ensure the delivery of aid to the people of Gaza as quickly as possible. (Arabic 21)
