The newspaper quoted informed sources as saying that the plan will enhance planning efforts for military operations and training between the two countries.
The newspaper said that the plan is scheduled to be announced on April 10 at the White House, where Biden will host the Japanese Prime Minister in an official event that will include a luxurious dinner and a meeting to discuss political affairs.
Reuters said that the White House, the National Security Council, and the US State Department did not respond to a request for comment.
