To prepare and take initiative instead of waiting for opportunities and wasting them

Member of the “National Moderation” bloc, MP Walid Al-Baarini, considered that “the region is experiencing a period of major transformations, and this matter stems from two paths: the first is the path of the ongoing brutal Israeli war on Gaza, which is an extremely dangerous path with its repercussions, while the second path is the path of dialogues and understandings that establish a new stage.” “This is a positive thing that we should benefit from.”

Al-Baarini continued during a series of meetings and receptions in his office: “We must not remain in the cycle of collapse, but rather take advantage of the circumstances to save our country and our people, and this begins with electing a president of the republic, which is what we seek through our initiative as a moderate bloc, and then forming a government and embarking on a workshop to rebuild the state.” And its institutions, with the first priority being to follow up on people’s affairs and needs.”

He added: “Everyone is aware of the difficulties of today’s reality. There is nothing guaranteed for the citizen, neither medical nor educational, nor job opportunities to build the future, nor guarantee for old age and retirement. Accordingly, officials must address this reality and address the catastrophic development situation through decent infrastructure and establishing productive projects that create an economic cycle so that the country’s wheels can return to work and hope can return to the Lebanese.”

Al-Baarini concluded, “The most important thing is not to remain on the waiting side. Rather, what is always required is preparation and initiative, instead of waiting for opportunities and wasting them.”
