A short three-party presidential list reduced to two names

It was reported in “Al-Anbaa Al-Kuwaiti”:

Al-Anbaa newspaper indicated that there is anticipation, after the Eid al-Fitr holiday, for the return of the ambassadors of the five-member group to action, according to a schedule of appointments previously determined with the heads of the major parliamentary blocs, including the “Strong Lebanon Bloc” of the “Free Patriotic Movement.” And Hezbollah’s Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc.

According to information, a short tripartite list adopted by Christian spiritual authorities at a high level was reduced to two names, without this precluding the possibility of expanding it and adding other names to it, if it was included in the agreement between the Lebanese parties. Among the two names put forward for deliberation is a figure whom President Nabih Berri welcomed, due to the local and Vatican ecclesiastical acceptance he received, noting that the Council President places the agreement between the broadest segments as a cornerstone for moving towards the happy conclusions of the presidential file.
