To fulfill deposits while compensating for losses

The “Union of Depositors in Lebanese Banks” organized a sit-in, at eleven o’clock before noon today, in front of the Bank of Lebanon in the Hamra district, in implementation of the decisions of the “Depositors and Lawyers Forum,” which was held at the Smallville Hotel on last March 21.

The protesters raised Lebanese flags and banners calling for “payment of deposits within a short period of time and compensation for losses, especially for depositors of the lira.”

There were speeches and interventions by the participants in the movement.
