Who uses the dollar in Lebanon?

Some banks recently began purchasing dollars from citizens at a price of 89,500 Lebanese pounds through their “external accounts.”

According to the sources, the citizen can choose to withdraw dollars received from abroad in Lebanese pounds at the price of $89,500, and thus obtain the amount transferred to him in pounds after the bank sells the “Fresh” dollar.
