An Australian aid worker was killed in Gaza

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed on Tuesday that aid worker Lala Zaomi “Zomi” Francome was killed in an air strike in Gaza and called for those involved in the incident to be held accountable.

“I called the Israeli ambassador to ask him for a full accounting of the killing of aid workers in Gaza,” Albanese said.

He added: “I offer my condolences to the family and friends of Australian aid worker Zumi Frankum, who was killed in Gaza.”
