600 soldiers have been killed since October 7

The Israeli army announced on Monday that 600 of its soldiers had been killed since October 7, when the Hamas attack on southern Israel began and led to the outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army confirmed on its website that “Nadav Cohen, 20 years old, from Haifa (…) was killed during the battles in the southern Gaza Strip,” which brings to 600 the number of soldiers killed inside Israel and the Palestinian territories since October 7, 2023.
