Argentine star Lionel Messi, striker of the American soccer club Inter Miami, announced his intention to launch a new sports drink in partnership with the beverage company “White Claw.”

Messi will enter into a new competition with his traditional rival, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Saudi club Al-Nasr, but this time outside the green rectangle.

Ronaldo previously launched his own product (CR7 Drive), in partnership with the giant nutrition company Herbalife.

Lionel Messi said on his Instagram account: “I am very excited to launch the sports drink that changes the rules of the game.”
