Since yesterday…this is what the streets of Tripoli are witnessing

Units affiliated with the Internal Security Forces began implementing the security plan in Tripoli since yesterday. Security patrols of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit began in the north, and mobile checkpoints and circumstantial positions were established in the streets of Tripoli, especially inside commercial markets.

The Rapid Forces Unit also conducted patrols and set up barriers with the necessary force to suppress shooting crimes, arrest those involved, and hand them over to the relevant unit for legal action, while the Northern Regional Command, the Investigation Detachment in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, the Judicial Police, the Information Division, and the Central Investigation Detachment in the Embassy Security Service worked on… Intensify the inquiry effort, collect information about the shooters, and work to arrest them.

Cooperation and coordination are underway with the Lebanese Army and the General Directorate of State Security.

A statement issued by the office of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, indicated that the minister is following up on the implementation of the plan with the security leaders, officers, and units responsible for implementation on the ground.
