About 80% of our capabilities have been damaged or destroyed

The CEO of the Ukrainian “Donbass Fuel and Energy Company” Dmitry Sakharuk announced that about 80% of the company’s capabilities were damaged or destroyed as a result of the bombing that struck energy facilities in the last two weeks.

“We have five out of six thermal power plants that were severely damaged: some units were almost completely destroyed, some partially,” he said on the Ukrainian “Rada” TV channel.

He added: “As for electricity distribution facilities, the entire country also suffered very serious damage. Now we are in a situation where about 80% of our production capabilities are damaged or completely destroyed.” (Russia Today)
