After his speech about the House of Representatives.. Will Berri respond to the Patriarch?

Al-Jadeed channel quoted Ain al-Tineh sources as saying today, Saturday, that Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri will not respond to the words of Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros al-Rahi, who said that the Parliament deprives Lebanon of a president of the republic.

The sources indicated that Berri would not allow the crisis to turn into a Shiite-Christian one.

The Patriarch had said that the Parliament, with its speaker and members, deliberately and without legal justification deprives the State of Lebanon of a president, thus violating the Constitution in the introduction that declares that Lebanon is a democratic, parliamentary republic.
